Just finished reading the best book I've read in quite awhile, Daemon, by Daniel Suarez. Cyber punk is alive and well, and even better in Suarez's latest. If you love techie things and the Internet, you're going to love this. I couldn't put it down. I read it on the trains while traveling through Europe this past week, and finished it up here in Rijeka, Croatia. I'm leaving it in the hands of a young computer geek I've met here.

That's a great audiobook too, from say-- audible.com.

I plan on reading it in the background.

Read that a couple books ago. Great read, especially for those with an interest in computing. My only complaints were perhaps a little too much gratuitous violence and maybe the ending was a little weak. Kept me turning the pages, regardless.

The follow-up book "Freedom" is even better. Read it a week ago and could not put it down.
If you did not like the violence in Daemon, don't bother with Freedom
