Microcenter MacBook in the House...

Heheh...this is a success story. The wife (a dedicated windows user) wants a laptop so that she could trade stocks on it (she does well). I took her to microcenter...and she fell in love with the MacBook---2.26ghz core duo, 2 gigs of ram. She really liked it when the startup asked for a picture to customize the computer.

I think she's ready to dump windows. ;-)

Only question I have is how to get the $200 back. The UPC is the APPLE based barcode, yes? The Microcenter added bar code is not the UPC, correct?

just make copies and send in BOTH UPCs just in case. Again, make copies, put the deadline in your iCal to remind you to call. I got a $150 microcenter check in about 3-4 weeks back in April.

Sweet ride and deal. Dad had me get one for mom. Loaded it up, ready to go for xmas. Then I bought one for my wife for xmas. This is a great machine.
