Netflix on wife's iPod Touch === happy wife
#1
Loaded the app on her iTouch yesterday while she was at work, and when she got home she spent a couple of hours last night plugged into her iPod watching the first season of the series "Highlander"... it was one of our favorite shows back in the day. Sexy model eye candy guy for her. sword swinging sci-fi for me.

I loaded that awhile back for the heck of it, but I don't really use it.

How quickly does it drain the battery?

I have really enjoyed using the netflix app. My only wish would be for video out so I could play the video on the tv.

Maybe airplay to an ATV will offer that option.

I own the video out cable from apple. I use it when I travel to watch my movies on the hotel room tv. I tried it with netflix and the movie continued to play on the ipod screen and not on the tv.

Interesting, according to http://news.cnet.com/8301-13506_3-20018573-17.html the video out has been available since october 5th. I have the fourth gen ipod touch which the article says is compatible. Maybe I should try it again.
