this is a case where unions suck.
Yup, here is an example: As a result of one of the wretches' incessant complaint, the union got her status changed from 80% to 100%. Ever since then her miserable attitude has increased along side with her complaints! Go figured!
Regarding the union, one must take the good as well as the bad.

What workplace doesn't have this type of employees? :dunno:
kap, you say the Union doesn't allow anything to happen. Could you be more specific? Are the troublesome employees breaking company rules? (there are rules of conduct in your workplace, aren't there?) If so, management is responsible to put a stop to such behavior. In the Union shops I've worked in, if you are reprimanded for violation of company rules, the Union didn't have much leverage in preventing the reprimands. Too many of these can lead to unpaid time off or dismissal.
Are you saying the Union is so strong, the company cannot take action? BTW, what Union and company are you talking about?

Bingo!
One must commit some horrendous acts to receive a dismissal here.

A good union can protect a good employee from a bad employer.

Why do you need a union to "protect" you from a bad employer?
Find a new employer...

Please provide Rick-o with all the requested information. He needs to defend his precious Union righteousness and needs as many opportunities to obfuscate as possible. The Union can do no wrong. Never. Ever. :barf:

With my very last dying breath. Especially when folks like to fabricate LIES to vilify what Unions are really about in this country. You know, like what you constantly do here in the forum, WHiip. :punch:

Not my words, but if it makes you feel better about yourself... Go ahead and post some more lies. You're rants are pretty easy to disprove. Even with all your years of "professionalism". (
There is ALWAYS two sides to every story. We have heard kaps. Why do I feel there might be more to this tale? Or do we just go ahead believe kaps version as the gospel?
If labor unions were as strong as some of you people here fantasize about, 8-) then this country would probably be a hell of a lot more prosperous than it is right now. You know, like we were back in the 50's.
