Great story about the Bin Laden raid

First, please don't politicize. This has nothing to do with politics.

I heard an interview with the author this morning on NPR.

It's a very good read.

Having gotten Bin Laden on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 is a great achievement. Wish the towers were back up too by now.

speaking of making things right, almost 1,000 people have died since 9/11 due to cancers from being first responders in the area of the Towers' collapse.

red tape and bureaucracy had allowed many of them to die instead of paying for their medical treatments. no matter your political stripe, it's just wrong. they put their lives on the line to help others, but the same hasn't been done for them.

That was a good article. I particularly liked the 'nobody except the team is going to know who fired the shot'.

Now.. what I want to know is...

Who gets the reward ?

I don't think the 'police' are entitled to a reward...(^_^)

May be they all had blanks except one. We know who nuked Hiroshima but we can't know who shot Bin Laden.

Dakota-

THINK about it, please.

Would YOU want to be the Navy SEAL whose identity was 'outed' and as a result became #1 target on every Jihadi's hit list ? Not to mention your family and friends as well ?

Aside from the fact that the identity of active duty SEAL team members is always classified.

Sheesh.
