LinkedIn: Hacked
eHarmony: Hacked
and now, add to the list:
Last.FM: Hacked
This is getting frustrating...and old.

Huh. Guess I was a lucky one and did not have my LinkedIn account hacked. Just changed the password anyway...
My wife would kill me if I had an eHarmony account...

My LI account wasn't hacked either. What's eHarmony?

I recognize that the site should have been better protected, but I'm having a hard time understanding how a huge list of passwords affects anyone's security.
How does knowing that some user chose the password "macs4ever" put anything at risk without knowing the specific user id? Were those disclosed too?
It's like finding a truck full of keys. Without knowing where the locks are, they're useless.
