Question: Walmart says the list price is only $20--you get the three movies on Blu-Ray? I don't understand. Seems really low even at $20.

the super-deluxe edition is $100, that's why.

No, the super deluxe version is only $50. And you get the equivalent of a whole extra movie with all the added scenes. I think each one has an extra hour of footage. We're going to re-watch the whole trilogy before going to see the Hobbit.

I ordered one 'cuz what the heck... I already have the DVD extended edition and the likelihood that I will be able to rewatch these movies in their entirety is low. I hadn't planned on buying the bluray versions because they're fairly expensive, but with this pricing mistake at $12 it really can't hurt to try. If they charge more I'll return them.
I mean, aside from the extra footage which I can go back and watch on DVD, is there a compelling reason to get the BD extended edition? g= |
