VA turnout could be a record

We may beat the '08 numbers. Polls closed at 7 but anyone in line at 7 get to vote. Results were halted until 8pm for that reason. I wouldn't be surprised if some were still waiting to vote.

Historically, large turnouts favored Democrats in this state.

FWIW, which isn't much, my impression is that more people voted here in Chicago than even 2008.

They're saying 75-80% turnout.

Florida and NC also have very strong turnout, and it's not good for Romney that none of those are called yet, including VA.

Last election the Democrats were highly motivated. This time the Republicans are.

Well, you can't call Va until more results come in from the big areas. Once we have Fairfax and Va Beach in, they'll call it.

I think both. Republicans were ramped up in 2010, Dems have joined them.

Wow. People in Va Beach are still waiting to vote. No doubt other areas are having the same issue.

Va really, really needs to do early voting or expand absentee voting. This is nuts.
