You download the music in a .zip file (actually takes two files because of Google's 100 song limit per .zip file) and then you have the mp3 files forever on your computer, just add them to iTunes.
Note that this only counts as one download in terms of the two download limit; it's just one download broken into two segments.

If you use the Google Music Manager (which is a preference pane on the Mac) to download your purchased tracks, I don't believe there is a limit to the number of times you can download.
I think there is only a limit if you use the web interface to download your purchased tracks. I think.

True, but you have to download your entire list of Amazon purchases if you download through Music Manager. Cumbersome at best if you've purchased from them in the past.
