How can prisoners collect UNEMPLOYMENT?

There's fraud everywhere. That's why we have jails. The folks in jail convicted of unemployment fraud will get more jail time.

Gee. Criminals committing fraud. Who woulda thunk it ?

Of course it's a big problem. And has to be managed at a state and county level, because Unemployment Insurance is a state by state program with a federal component, but state administered.

In the main, the Federal and State govermments are probably losing much more money to malfeasance by employees and contracted waste by public and private contractors. But closing every door is a good thing.
