iRobot or Neato?

Our old iRobot (affectionally called Sagee) is on its second NiCad and now that's dying. Sagee still works but wobbles a bit and is noisy. Me thinks it might pay to get a new frisky, younger, better looking Sagee, and I hear its nice at the iRobot Retirement home in the sky. The question is whether to get a new iRobot with its spinning side brush or the supposed better "fuzzy" logic of the Neato. Anyone like to offer their preference, and why.

Here is a review. Gave me a good chuckle.

I had never previously heard of Neato but when I did, I discovered that they were cheaper and considered by many to be better then the iRobot....supposed more intuitive......if you check the review, you may notice that....I believe Costco sells the Neato....

We have a Neato (we call him Jeffery) for cleaning our lanai. The first one developed a stuck drive wheel. It was replaced under warranty without a fuss. The second Jeffery is working well. Its fun to watch him. He methodically cleans an area, working around obstacles like chairs and tables, until the battery is low. Then he comes back to his charging station, turns around and backs in, dead center, charges up and then resumes where he left off. Pretty cool. I'd buy another. He does leave a little gecko poop around the edges that a Roomba might pick up with it's edge brush.
