Advice on covering basement floor?

Check the Mike Holmes video on how to properly finish a basement.

First, make sure it's dry.
Second, line the concrete floor and walls with 1# rigid polystyrene.
Third, spray foam all the seams.
Then you put your floor of choice on top.
