Poison ivy y y y y!

First case in years. I'm using 91 per cent alcohol and then calamine lotion. Benadryl and steroid crean didn't seem to help. Walmart had some stuff for $35 but that's too much.

The $35 stuff (I assume it's Zanfel) really does work. Best results if applied immediately after exposure, though.

It's been about a week and it's slowly getting better.

Yeah, way too late for it to do you any good then.

I usually have to get a steroid shot for poison ivy if I can't wash it out in the first hour or so. Very allergic.

Are you somewhere where jewelweed grows?
I had PI two weeks ago and the stuff helped/ Jewelweed grows al around my place. I just cut a stem open and rubbed the sap on my PI and it helped with the itching a lot. I also took a bunch of it and boiled it in a little water and made a lotion, that works well also.

You just blew my mind. I've been singing it as "a notion" since 1959. (Not to be confused with "I've been this way since 1956.)

On your body?

That's pretty daring to go running naked through the woods/weeds like that...
