"Pence refuses to respond on Trump's comments"

Well, this answers one question. He's as scummy as Trump.

Pence refuses to respond on Trump's comments
The GOP VP nominee dodges reporters asking about Trump making the most aggressive, crude comments about women yet.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Mike Pence took the stage here just over an hour after a tape emerged of Donald Trump crudely bragging about sexually harassing women and pretended as though no such tape existed.

And then, confronted by multiple reporters on the rope line after the speech, he simply ignored repeated questions about his reaction to the tape, first reported by The Washington Post, in which Trump said of women: “Grab them by the pu--y. … You can do anything.”

“How can you ignore this question?” an ABC reporter asked repeatedly, as Pence simply smiled and shook hands.

“Governor, what’s your reaction to the Trump tape?” Pence was asked by POLITICO as he shook hands and an aide whisper over his shoulder. “Governor, The Washington Post report, what is your reaction?”

Pence simply kept shaking hands, moving down the line.

Pence spoke for 37 minutes to a crowd of a few hundred in a high school gymnasium here, but made no mention of the controversial comments.

Pence is a backwards thinking dinosaur like most of the Repub party these days..On political basis only, his acceptance of the VP role is a clear indication that this guy is missing a few parts in actually thinking that his sort of oppressive, short sighted (non) policy has a future.

I hope he stays with this and seals his fate..his constituency in Indiana will see the light on his association with this piece of shit.

Funny joke!

You're talking about Indiana like the electorate cares about such things.

He's pro-life. He's in.

Pence probably saw the shining lights of the VP office and never worried about his running mate. As for Indiana, if that's what they want let them have him.

This is silly. He signed onto this team. He knew from the git go that Trump was a liar and a lewd person. It's a candidacy that is rooted and based on lies. That means that you campaign on those lies because he's IN IT. Pence is a dangerous ultra right-wing demagogue who is "more" dangerous than Trump because he has the (dare I say it) Temperament to rally consensus and methodically legislate.

That said, he's not as "scummy" as Trump. Pence is civilized. I'd have less respect for him if he all of a sudden bailed. He'll see if the fire dies down first.

Pence will emerge from this mess as the repub with the highest name recognition and therefore the obvious #1 the next time around. Yes, he knew what he was getting into...
