Merkel had a mic shoved in her face right when the news broke and she said something like she intends to attend and US law isn't her concern, but that she'd be looking into it further.

Was just reading some Republican opinions about it. There's the usual shrug from the crowd that always has something "more important to worry about" than a corrupt president (on their side, of course) to Rep. Rooney in FL who is so angry he's speaking out against it.

That's a contrast to Senators Rubio and Scott, who only see it as a win for Florida, for the economy of the area. Scott even said "there can be no conflict of interest in Florida." What a turd he continues to be.
