Just got the first shot, waiting for side effects. So far, so good. The place is packed!
Had a teleconference with my oncologist Monday, she says “ You want to get vaccinated?” Surprised it was being offered, so here I am.

Our side effects were minimal for the first dose.
Mostly just sore arms.

For me, no side effects from Moderna the day of the shot. The next day, it was like I'd been punche hard in the shoulder with brass knuckles. The next day, half of that. The following day, 25%. The following day, nothing.
As I said to my wife, "Hey, it tells you that it's working."

And I swear, every shot I saw given on news tv had a needle that looked three inches long.
I used my trusty "I'm a big baby" line to encourage their kindness…

Got a Moderna at Dodger stadium. Glad I have automatic transmission. Stop and with manual would have been no fun. Two hours beginning to end. Hour to get to service area. 30 minutes to get a shot. They like e up 12 cars and go down the row todo them all. Then 20 minute wait to see if you react.
