Hello, we are purging our home office and we have tons of kids books and need to find a good home for them. Will be keeping a few of our kids favorites but many need to leave. We can donate some to the local library. However, wondering if there are any "easy" ways to sell these books?

Maybe check to see if there are any kids consignment shops in your area that take toys/books.

Unless they're special and / or in perfect condition you're not going to get much for them. You could list them on amazon but after shipping you won't be getting much per book.
I think checking with the local library is a good idea. They might not need them directly but could suggest somewhere to donate them.

We operate 2 little free libraries, and the first thing to go is kids books. We can’t keep them in stock. The next most popular thing is non-fiction.

Since RecipeForDisaster has an appreciative community of people wanting free kids books, I'd ship the whole lot over, and be done with a smile. Media Mail is cheap.

I was not angling for that! There are little free libraries all over (their map is not great, but it’s at little free library.org). If you left some in a library or two, or left a box at someone’s door… I doubt they’d be unappreciated!

Space,
Maybe this will help you find a place to donate them:
Our local library doesn't accept donated books. Rather, the library used to have regular book sales as a means of getting rid of books no longer needed by them. No doubt, covid has likely impacted whether or not they're still having book sales.
We have tons of books from Little M. Some are favorites or special gifts that we'll never get rid of. Others are books she's since outgrown. Will definitely donate them at some point.

I’ll add that our public library doesn’t take donations, either, and they also have a book sale.
I’ve sold books to Better World or PiggyBook in the past, but now I just put them in the LFLs.

Neighborhood list serve, or local elementary schools.
