All COVID-19 Discussion GOES HERE
Data is starting to come in on boosters. Today's (Fri) NYTimes is reporting stats that show both Moderna and Pfizer are highly effective in moderating COVID effects, that both are succeeding in preventing hospitalizations and serious side effects.

It'll be some time before they have any reliable data on the aftereffects of long COVID.

Take care Harbourmaster, let us know when you're out from under.

Despite being fully faxed and boosted, and wearing an N95 mask EVERYWHERE, I just received a positive Coronavirus test result from SCDHEC.

Have had the sniffles, body aches and chills for the last 5 days. Yesterday I spent most of the day in bed sleeping and feel much better today

Glad I’m faxed,

So glad you are on the mend.
It seems that with Omicron the vast majority of people will get it, vaxed or not.
Thankfully the vaxed will mostly have a mild/moderate illness.

This may be what it takes to get us out of the pandemic phase

Harbourmaster, I’m glad you are having a relatively easy course. But be sure to stay on top of things until it is all behind you. A lot of diseases can get a second wind although usually it’s brief and mild.

Daily Beast via Google News:

[Priest] Don Paolo Romeo had resisted pleas to get vaccinated from friends and colleagues who tried to talk sense into him… Romeo, who served as parish priest at Santo Stefano Abbey in Genoa, had clung to the conspiracy theory espoused by followers of French Catholic Archbishop Marcel François Marie Joseph Lefebvre: that vaccines are made using cells from aborted embryos.

(This claim is false and has been debunked even by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops…)

The Santo Stefano Abbey paid tribute to him on social media, …writing Monday that he “has risen to heaven.”

Confusedmiley-signs003:

Also,

…[Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò], former Vatican ambassador to the United States…recently has been on a tear about the pandemic supposedly being a plot by a “globalist oligarchy” to enslave humanity. He recently addressed protesters in Rome and told them to defy vaccine mandates.

…That has not worked out too well for other members of the Catholic Church who fell ill. Cardinal Raymund Burke, who spewed conspiracy theories about COVID-19 vaccines and referred to the coronavirus as the “Wuhan virus,” was placed on a ventilator after falling ill with the virus last year. He survived but admitted during a Mass in December that he has still not made a full recovery.

It occurs to me that we’ve actually been living through two pandemics, one of which is disinformational.

Three pandemics.

Seems like the disinformation pandemic and the rise of fascism/authoritarianism pandemic are probably closely correlated.

Interesting thing about that: Historically, global unrest quickly follows a pandemic.

So all three are interrelated.

The conditions described in the Newsweek article that tend to happen as a result of a medical pandemic are just the kinds of conditions Steve Bannon wants to happen so that his ilk can take over the world. Therefore, that's proof that Bannon started the Covid pandemic.
