All COVID-19 Discussion GOES HERE
I'm still recuperating from Covid from about a month ago. I'm so winded it's scary. I was at the barn today trying to help them vaccinate some calves. When we were done they told me to just got to the house, about a 125' walk downhill, my heart rate was a 138 when I got to the house. Now it was hot as in 88 and 75 degree dew point but I don't have heart issues. It did take me two years for my heart to stop the random racing to 150-160bpm for no reason, even during the night after my first round in late February 2020. My resting heart rate according to my Apple Watch over the past year has been 53-57 and as low as 34. It's been as high 175. I've also had some mild chest pains just like the first time around. I wear my watch at night and charge in the morning while my back is on my heating pad every single frickin' morning.

Grateful,
I hope you start feeling better very soon.
Covid is so unpredictable and seems to hit everyone a little differently.

I know it's cliche, but don't push yourself too hard, Grateful. I'm with rgG on hoping you feel better soon.

Just got the Moderna jab about an hour ago. Since I was at the Publix, I grabbed a container of cut up watermelon to help me hydrate. It’s so humid here I will need to stay on top of that.
I potted up a new hydrangea after I got home and that’s my total work load.

I will try the new Novavax. Saw my GP recently and that is what he goes for too. I explained how Moderna and Pfizer both kicked my butt and annoyed my AFIB, he agreed that the mRNA vaccines can be tough on some of us.

Looking forwards to having a less noteworthy jab…

Got Moderna yesterday morning. Arm sore, feel a bit weak and sleepy today. Wife had slight fever yesterday, no longer, feels good with some arm soreness, I have very slightly elevated temperature today (not yesterday). Overall, much milder than some earlier shots.

We both got flu shots at the same time, and as she got them in different arms, the arm pain seems to be due to flu not to Covid.

I didn’t even think about the Novovax.

Just saw this on the CDC site when I was looking into Novavax

“Note: The 2023–2024 Novavax COVID-19 Vaccine remains authorized but is no longer available in the United States, as all doses have expired. Accordingly, at this time, CDC recommendations for use of Novavax COVID-19 Vaccine have been removed. This page will be updated if FDA approves or authorizes additional 2024–2025 COVID-19 vaccines.”

I just read a news scroll article about the new Novavax formulation being approved by the FDA ( I think ). Should be available in a couple weeks if my reading comprehension is still up to snuff…
