He left early. I'm sure he wasn't supposed to. HE LOOKED GREAT!!!!!!!! Now that's great music. A bunch of tribute albums are coming out this year.

One of my first 8 track tapes I purchased with my own money was Sly and Family Stone Greatest Hits, along with Stevie Wonder (My Cherie Amour)

He did look cool but there is something wrong there. Either he's playing Diva, is sick or is feeling the effects of all those drugs he did over the years. He really hit bottom years ago. A girlfriend of his was one of my students years ago. Very sad.
One of the greatest R&B/rock talents to come out of the 60's. I hope he comes back strong.

I was reading in the LA Times that the last time he was seen, was at a show by a S&TFS tribute band. He never took off his motorcycle helmet.
