Watch out for purchasing rules:

In some cases, it might be better to place separate orders.

For example get some dvds @ $29.99 and some @ $17.99. If you get 2 of each, they WON'T give you one $29.99 for FREE and one $17.99 for FREE. They will give you the two $17.99 for FREE. . .so better to place 2 separate orders to get the better deal.

When purchasing multiple movies you will be charged for the higher priced items and those of equal of lesser value will be at no charge.

You mean the Greatest American Hero DVDs don't have the theme song?

What am I going to use for my answering machine message!?

Now if we can just get SG-1 on that list...

Sadly, music rights for theme music were sometimes not secured. The same thing is true of the Starsky and Hutch series.

Really disappointing, as the music was often a big part of various shows. It's a little off-putting when watching, as you realize something's missing.

The series Tour of Duty was like that. I got all excited when I saw that it was coming on tv one day and then got ticked when they didn't play "Paint it Black" as the intro. I think I ended up cutting it off after that.

LOL, jimbrady!

I totally heard the theme when reading your post!

I really liked that series. I rented the first disc from NetFlix, but I don't think the theme is there.

Robert Culp is great. I just wish they'd DVD his gig as Hobie Gilman.

I already have all 3 Greatest American Hero sets and yes the theme is still the same. In fact it plays over and over again at the main menu. At least one of the sets even plays a clip from the theme when you press a spot on the package.

I've watched them all and I didn't even notice they had to replace some of the music (if they did).

No for the series "Get a Life" with Chris Elliot they really screwed it up by replacing music and it was very noticeable.

I took advantage of this sale yesterday to get a bunch of 3rd rock from the Sun sets.
