Only as an aside to Sears previous incompetence.
Had an appt with CableVison today to replace the splitter between 8 & 11A.
Got here at 10A. Replaced the bum splitter, all fittings were changed to sealed compression type (with an internal "O" ring). He also stripped back one bad hunk out of the split and tagged on a replacement with fittings.
Now the picture doesn't freeze frame on me.
Speed check from them still shows 13M all the time (quel suprise); while most other vary over the course of the day; 3-13M.
