Easiest way to put iCal calendar on a web page for folks to see
#1
Want to put my car club's calendar up on the web site. (actually, the whole 2007 calendar)

Its in iCal.
How can I get it up on the server for all to see?

Thanks -

You asked for "easiest" so I'll say it...use .mac! All you have to do is click publish and it will automatically keep it updated. You can then distribute a link to the website for anyone interested OR they can just subscribe to your calendar so it appears inside of theirs. Pretty dang easy.

Or you could export your calendar to an ics file, stick it anywhere on the web that you can, and let people subscribe to it.

I think there may also be utilities that allow you to export your calendar in other ways but you'd have to hit http://www.versiontracker.com or maybe someone will update us here.

You can print it as PDF and link to that. Or you can use this: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/9224

Are the people who are going to be looking at it also using iCal? Or are you looking for
something that will generate a web page from your calendar data?

If you want a web page from your calendar data, look into getting phpicalendar http://phpicalendar.net/ working on your webhost.

nope . none of them have iCal.

Started messing with phpicalendar but when it came to reading the manual and setting permissions and then changing the this that and such - it just was too time consuming for me and I shelved it.

Looking into Google now

Thanks guys

Rain, I've setup phpicalendar before. Depending on the specifics of your host, I could probably set it up again.
