Speechless - 22 killed at Virginia Tech
#11
I'll just ask how does society say these people were supposed to defend themselves?

It's sad that people die from non-provoked attacks. Be it 20+ or just one. The reality is, it can happen, anywhere and everywhere.

Prayers are with the survivors.

The city of Philadelphia has had 111 homicides this year, so far. (as of a couple days ago)
Not as concentrated, or as focused on one age group, but troubling nonetheless.

Imagine living in Iraq, where a daily body count like this is about average. Day in, day out, 24/7/365.

Can't really process this kind of thing. Out of my grasp.

Student on TV says he spoke with another student who was in a classroom and was told everyone in the room was shot but him because he stayed still. Un-fscking believable. Dude was supposedly going down the hall, room by room, shooting into each.
