A three hour keynote

A three hour keynote... hopefully that means more than iPhone.

A three hour keynote, a three hour keynote

Scott already took some time to speculate what we might see at WWDC, but as one of our commenters pointed out that the Jobsnote is scheduled to occupy three hours, my own mind began to wander in…less useful…directions.

Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale,
a tale of a long keynote.
That started in Moscone West,
not on some crappy boat.
The star was the CEO, ol’ Jobs,
and upon the Mac he’d dote.
The cult had waited six long months,
for a three hour keynote, a three hour keynote…
The news had started getting rough,
that Leopard’d be delayed.
So then the cult of Mac bowed their heads,
and all began to pray; they all began to pray.
The stage was lit; they took their seats, and the show finally began
with Steve Jobs, Phil Schiller too,
Bertrand Serlet, and his wife (wha?),
Jonathan Ive, Scott Forstall and special guests,
Here on Developer’s Isle!

I'd like a picture of that Wink

You goin'? The week before there's work in SF, but it's my week off... I just might switch.

Only if they give away new video ipods to those in attendance.

Let's hope this doesn't turn into a three hour tour!

I don't know that Stevie vamps, so if it goes three hours, he'll probably have something to say that will interest different people at different times in the keynote.

WWDC seems an odd place to launch the iPhone, except that there will already be media in attendance. But unless he changed his mind and *will* allow developers to create apps for the iPhone, it seems almost mean to start it up there.
