$60AR @ Staples.com for the Refurb requires a $20 off $100 coupon they've emailed in the past week or so. http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/stores...uctDisplay?&langId=-1&storeId=10001&productId=154869&splCatType=1&catalogId=10051&cmArea=FEATURED:SC3:CG44:CL142045
Otherwise, it's $80AR. Warranty is same as new.

NEW $93 @ Buy.com or $83 for new GoogleCheckout users. http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10398615&adid=17653&dcaid=17653

If not mistaken, this is 2mb of RAM, SOLDERED, with no expansion slots. So hopes of printing PDFs might be dashed unless this thing is set up to use system ram when in queue....

(btw.... the word QUEUE is the only word you can remove all the letters from and it is still pronounced the same way. No, idiot, you can't remove the first letter!)

According to Brother, 16MB RAM.:

My MFC-7820N, based on same print engine/design handles all the PDFs that I have thrown at it...

I'm thinking of different Brother model then....... I looked recently, and was disappointed with no expansion slot, otherwise would have got it. It was cheaper than toner cart even if only starter cartridge!

I just got the Samsung ML-2571N for ~$100 after rebate at buy.com. I do not know how the two compare.

According to the ad starting on 1/6 available here:

http://rapidshare.com/files/80626749/st.pdf

the HL-2070N will be on sale for $79.98 (on page 9 of the PDF) -- this is for a NEW, not refurb model, and no need for pesky rebates.

If you are on the fence for this mode, wait until Sunday for the price to drop.

[quote max]No PS... I think the 52XX and above lasers have Brother's own PS emulation, but not the 2070N.
