And and appropriate heading to the retraction of this obit.

Is he sick again or not? Does anyone know the truth?

WTF?

This is my favorite graf from the linked article:

British folk/rock violinist Dave Swarbrick was killed off mistakenly by The Daily Telegraph in 1999 when they reported that his visit to hospital in Coventry had resulted in his death. On reading of his own death Swarbrick quipped: "It's not the first time I have died in Coventry".

Love that Brit humor!

I know it makes sense from the media's standpoint, but wouldn't it kind of creep you out to learn that they had an obit for you all ready to go?

Love that Brit humor! Do you mean "Gaffe"?
Love that American lack of education!

BGnR The lack of knowledge probably isn't on his end. "Graf", with an "f" not "ph", is used some places as shorthand for "paragraph".
