Is it time to clean up the rest of the forum problems yet?

I'm happy to see that searching on 3 character strings now seems to be totally fixed, the first time it was fixed it only allowed you to find post that were made after the fix, but now it finds them all.

My only remaining complaint is the position of the "Next" and "Last" page buttons. I think their order should be reversed so that "Next" is all the way to the right and easier to hit since it is used much more often than "Last".

I have no problem with "Reply box text" in Safari 3.1.2 and Firefox 3.0.3. I do not have to do any font size adjusting when using different forums.

I have no problems with any text size in either of these browsers.

Size of poster's name line is fine with me. Why is this so important?

Not trying to be critical or snide. I just don't understand how the same browsers on another Mac render differently for the same site if the prefs settings are the same (minimum font =14 in both for me).

I don't like Safari and FF3 crashes for me as it does for some others.
I've seen the exact same problems on every computer I've used while traveling-- I doubt I'm alone.

Everything looks fine to me. Any anomalies in Firefox will be difficult to chase because people may have plugins installed that modify the appearance.

Brian L Moon was nice enough to take the time to explain the "anomalies", which have nothing to do with plugins.

According to a post by lafinfil from a couple of days ago in response to a request to change the color of the PM highlight, admin Jim is currently taking a well deserved rest and will be back next week.

Calm down.

Thanks. Lafinfil made it a point to state that the PM highlight thing would be looked at.
Would be nice to hear that the font size problem will be addressed as well.

If FF3 crashes on you, then you have a serious problem with your computer or OS.

Not sure how serious the problem is if I can use FF2 for hours without crashing. They're still releasing updates for FF2, no reason to switch to FF3 yet. As I posted, BLM explained the underlying cause for the font size discrepencies-- no need to start blaming people's computers and OS's, unless you're just bored.
