How about the library? Don't they have computers in the Chicago libraries for people to use for free? Or is going to a library considered elitist? Just checking.
You would have had to leave work or childcare to go use it.
And the invitations are sent by e-mail and need to be printed.

At least in our library, you can print to a central printer at the circulation desk.
As for children, you don't have any, do you? So child care is not a problem. As for leaving work, I believe that Chicago Public libraries are open evenings and weekends. In fact, I know they are:

Here's how to reserve a computer:

Hope this helps.

I disagreed with you on another thread so no you're going to follow me around and try to "get one in there?"
Sure, go for it, I can take it.

Welcome to 2008.
Guess what-- lots of people still haven't spanned the digital divide in 2008. The folks handing out the converter box coupons even realize that-- there's a phone number to call.
I guess elitism is "in."

If you want to look for things to get pissy about, H, and I am beginning to think that you do judging by half of your responses lately, then "sure, go for it" as you would say. It is unfair and elitist. Have a snappy day.

Hey, why don't we all take a break and reconvene here Wednesday once the Kool-Aid has worn off?

Nope. Simply pointing out that your apparent attempt to show discrimination was lame. It doesn't matter to me if you disagree with me. It is still (incredibly, after the last eight years) a free country.
It does sound like it matters to you when I disagree with you, though.

I am getting really sick of the Kool-Aid references. I remember a time when being passionate about an election was a positive. I refuse to bow down just because a bunch of cynical, bored, apathetic people aren't interested or excited in seeing history made. I am excited about it and I don't care who knows it.
