I guess that could be considered some form of justice.
NEW YORK (AP) - Bernard Madoff has been sentenced to the maximum 150 years in prison for his multibillion-dollar fraud scheme. U.S. District Judge Denny Chin handed down the sentence in New York on Monday.

I say, good old fashioned justice... throw him to the crowd outside the courthouse.
Democratic mobs always dispense proper justice! Why should the law apply, anyway... it's just silly.

What gets me is that no one is talking as to facilitated his moving of the money. For as corrupt as he was and for scale of money moving around, no way could he have done it alone without red flags.
My hopes were that the at least part network of money handlers with whom he dealt with were to be brought in as well, but you know that they have plausible denial on their side (as that is how the system is structured). Too bad, as I would think that more money would have been recovered for the folks who got ripped off.
I agree about the hard labor, but the way he looks, it would be a 1 week term that would evolve into in a death sentence.

Pay per view public flogging would be better.

We don't even think of torturing others here in the United states. We're educationally superior to the rest of the world.

I agree with the sentiment....but an eye for an eye makes us all blind
he'll rot in jail until he's dead. I agree that they should be going after the money handlers as well..

He'll have it relatively easy in prison.
The prison guards and officials know where their bread is buttered.
