Great example of why to not use all CAPS and no paragraphs
#6
i have never understood typing in all caps.

it is just as easy to type in all lower case, and it's not nearly as hard on the eyes.

exactly!

Some claim otherwise, but I find it really difficult to follow sentences with all caps. And I just don't understand what motivates people to press the caps key and blaze away. I'm sure most don't print that way.

[DISCLAIMER] I print in the style of the Capitals font for whatever reason. Like traditional printing, I make the first word of a sentence, or a proper noun, larger than the rest, but all characters are upper case.

I wonder, do those ALL CAPS people get correspondence that way? Can you reply to CL ads via email? I wonder how a few dozen replies done in the same manner would strike the person who placed the ad.

This particular ad had to be done for effect, rather than someone's typical style. I hope.

Lastly, I don't subscribe to the unwritten Innertube rule that all caps is shouting. I just don't like it because it's difficult for me to read.

Here or anywhere, if I see a post with a lot of text and no paragraphs, and/or in all caps, I just press FAST FWD.
