Duplicate songs are no sweat. In fact they can become problematic.
But there's some secret tag or special sauce that makes a file an audiobook, and it goes beyond the .aa suffix. It didn't (doesn't?) get copied over in the transition.
I've recorded several books from CD to mp3 and tried to make them show up in the Audiobook section, but have been completely unsuccessful.
There was a thread at macosxhints awhile back that addressed the question, but I don't remember the answers. There may have been a reference to Doug's Scripts about converting them or adding bookmarks, whatever.
