Ugh, a company has contacted me and wants me to release my Twitter name to them.

A tough call.

I personally would hold out for a stronger argument by the company. You might want to consider options that do not involve cash.

They do seem to be acting in good faith. But when $$ and lawyers get together, who knows what'll happen next.
