Moen faucet problem.. any plumbers in here?

I've only doen a mixer on a shower control and in that case the adjusting stop was under the escutcheon.
Could the adjusting screw on yours be right under the faucet handle itself ?
I'd take the handle off and the escutcheon and see what you've got.


Edit: shouldn't have to even shut the water off.
