Aaaaargh! iTunes is driving me batty!

What is the name of your external drive? Could you name a folder the same as external drive and point iTunes to that folder on your internal drive? I wish I could help more - I've had the same iTunes folder since 2003 on 5 different machines. Now it's on an external named iTunes and iTunes itself hasn't had any issue recognizing my music.
