The Most Shoplifted Items of 2009
#15
Slide show, one item per page, weird. What's the rationale for that kind of formatting? A shameless gimmick to pad hit counts, to mislead potential advertisers? It's dreadful, user-unfriendly, tiresome to navigate. I'm curious what the upside is, why a web engineer, or managing editor, or designer, would be allowed to implement such a layout. It seems more designed to drive viewers away.
