The firing is official this afternoon. I received an e-mail from Notre Dame a few minutes ago confirming what the fans had expected for a few weeks now.
Our Archbishop asked for a second collection at Mass last Sunday to buy out Charlie's contract.:biggrin:
From what I've read on the ND message boards, Bob Stoops & Brian Kelly are in the running, but who knows what the ND Athletic Director is thinking.
