Lots of parts on eBay and a thriving 3rd party reseller market. Scions are as modular as a mainstream car can get. They're practically Legos.
Go into a Toyota/Scion dealer, find out whether the part is available separately or whether the whole mirror must be replaced and get the exact name of the part, the part number and the dealer-price.
Then do a Google or eBay search for the part. You'll probably find it about 10% cheaper than the dealer price.
