Quicktime Problem (no audio, but video looks great)

Drag the little start and end brackets in the timeline to designate where you want your clip to begin and end and then the "Trim to Selection" command should be available in the Edit menu.

I was trying to do something like that, but there was only a single bracket. I couldn't find the two "opposing" triangles. I have the "Trim to Selection" option in the menu, but can't use it b/c I only have a single, "right pointing" triangle.

Anyway, getting ready to leave work, so I'll look at it again when I get home.
