Another forum whose members come hear to sling insults when things get too slow there has failed to attract and retain new members due to its nastiness and is now (not surprisingly) dying of attrition.
With no other way to kill time, regulars from that forum are using this one to fill up their empty existence. And not surprisingly this forum is dying of nastiness as well.
Normal, healthy people just don't choose to wallow in hostility in their free time.
The worst part is that it's not possible to appeal to these folks to reign in their hostility since they've been immersed in it day-in, day-out on this other forum for 3+ years and they don't seem to even have an awareness of how ugly it is at this point.
