Why SD card won't mount?

Thanks Doc. It must be it. Yes, it is a 16gig card and no, the reader is nothing special. Are other cameras that iPhoto has issues with? In my case it is hit or miss. Sometime it sees the camera, sometimes not.

Edit: System Profiler sees the camera. There must be a way to get to it.
