I understand that more details sometimes takes the fun out of these discussions, but I found the article I read yesterday that went into more detail. The guy did a video about the Evo, too.
Below is a quote from the more detailed article, and I'm also adding a link to the whole thing. This same guy has done other videos in which BB was mentioned and in which he made fun of customers. I'm sure there are some funny lines, and I'm sure there are some people who would consider all of his efforts funny. I'm just not convinced that if he was working for me I'd consider him an asset to my company, although I am old and grumpy.
"Best Buy spokesman Justin Barber said in an e-mail Friday that the company was still deciding how to proceed with Maupin, whom he called an "aspiring filmmaker."
"This is an important situation for us because it involves balancing our social media guidelines with a commitment to creating a supportive environment for our employees," Barber said. "That's why our investigation into this matter will take some time before it's concluded, and why we look forward to seeing Brian back on the job come Monday."
