My solution was to ditch cable TV and buy a mac mini + eyeTV and Plex to replace the ReplayTV. Not quite as seamless (yet) as a ReplayTV, but now we have lots of content to choose from (Netflix, iTunes, lots of other stuff). Frankly there is nothing on the regular TV networks that is worth a damn that can't be obtained commercial free and relatively cheaply through other venues.
