Is there a way to repair a small scratch on my otherwise perfect Powerbook case?

Here are some skins that will cover the whole top, and they are $5.55, shipped. They even come with wrist covers, too. Look in the middle of the page for more designs. These have the advantage of giving the whole top some protection. You might even let your granddaughter pick the one she likes best to "customize" the PowerBook for her. The size is 37cm x 27cm, so you may have to trim it to fit your machine. You didn't say what size it was.
