Sadly, it is easy in my state as well. There are "traveling gun shows" that have shown to be a market for people buying guns that they should not be able to. If you walked into a gun shop and asked to buy a gun, you would have to wait a certain amount of time, as mandated by law. At these shows, people have walked in with cash, bought guns, and left the same day with them.
I have no problem with responsible people buying guns; if you are bent on getting a gun, why not have to pass a gun safety class? Do we not need a permit to drive?

Another thing, who gives a crap what politics this guy believed? We have friends in Tuscon and they could have easily been a victim in this tragedy.
