I always pay with a credit card, and when I do a return or price adjustment, I tell them that I want it refunded to my credit card. They give you the green slip showing the credit has been issued, and you're done. No store credit and no additional lines. The only time a second person gets involved is a supervisor needs to enter a password to approve the credit given that Fry's doesn't trust any single employee with their money. But there is a supervisor hovering around the return area going from person to person doing the approvals.
