I received an unsolicited and unwanted Text message from a Chrysler dealership that recently fixed my wife's minivan (the POS Minivan I've complained about herein).
Did I authorize them to send me SPAM in the service contract I signed ? No. I did not.
Did I specifically give them my cell number so they could market to me with their 'coupon' offer ?
No. I did not.
That didn't stop them.
They got a VERY Angry phone call that sounded a bit like this:
"Good morning. This is cbelt3. I WAS a customer of yours until a minute ago, when I received an unsolicited text message from your e-marketing system. Are you people complete idiots ? Do you realize you've just annoyed EVERY single one of your customers that has a cell phone ? No ? Well I suggest you FIRE whatever marketing MORON that did that, send letters apologizing to your customers that you spammed, and HOPE that they forgive you.
Because I will NOT.
Goodbye."
