Yep. I went through this same process several months ago http://forums.macresource.com/read.php?1...sg-1112558. I ended up just sticking with the Chase Freedom card for pretty much the reasons Robert M. mentioned above. It was the best compromise for the way we use our card(s). The categories change quarterly, and it takes about a minute to "register". I'm not going to not use it just because I'll only get one point rather than three, but if my needs for a particular month align with the selected category that month, then all the better.
