I didn't cancel it, but I did choose a lower tier when they increased the price. I don't have a problem with their new prices -- it's still a good deal -- but as somebody who doesn't really use streaming, I don't appreciate that they began it as a free service, and then started charging me for it by default, making it opt-out instead of opt-in. It went from like $18 to $23, which is a 27% increase. And other people had even heftier increases.

Part of it was the principle of the thing, but at last as much was it forced me to consider whether I'd really miss anything with a more limited plan.
