If it weren't for those pesky unions and tradesmen's organizations, you wouldn't have to pay an $18/hr living wage to skilled workers! Once we break those unions, you'll be able to get your water heater fixed for minimum wage (less if we repeal those job-killing laws), with all the parts imported from developing countries. Won't that be great?
That is a fraking bargain. My Mom paid about $60/hr to have a toilet float replaced when I was out of town for a week. She can't find any kids in her neighborhood to mow her lawn for under $12/hr. They all seem to have at two or three activities per day after school and do not have the time.
